App
Branding and navigation
Define a coherent white-label identity and a compact app navigation for daily readers.

The app is delivered under the publisher’s name, visual identity and store presence. Prepare approved logo variants, app icon, launch artwork, colours and store copy as one controlled brand package.
Navigation model
Prioritise the routes readers use repeatedly: front page, selected sections, search or settings where configured, and direct article sharing. A native bottom navigation should remain short enough to scan at a glance. Less frequent destinations belong in the secondary menu or on the website.
Name sections consistently across WordPress, the web header, the app and notifications. Avoid internal newsroom terms that readers do not recognise.
Visual checks
Test light and dark device settings, long section names, narrow devices and enlarged text. Icons must remain recognisable and labels must not be truncated into ambiguity. Confirm that the app icon works at small sizes and that launch artwork does not rely on fine text.
Keep the source artwork and approved store assets in a shared location with clear ownership. Rebranding can require both content configuration and a new app release, so plan it rather than changing individual surfaces independently.
