Build and publish quizzes

Quiz is a dedicated content type for knowledge, depth and audience engagement. It can have a title, introduction, featured image and an ordered set of questions.

Questions and answers

Each question supports two to six answer choices. Mark exactly one correct answer and re-check it after reordering. An optional image and caption can provide context; apply the same rights and credit standards as for article media.

Test one clear fact at a time. Avoid double negatives, tricks and answers where several choices are defensible.

Result bands

Different score ranges can display tailored messages. Keep feedback educational and link to relevant reporting. A low score should encourage learning rather than mock the reader.

AI assistance

An agent or other AI support can prepare a first question set from published coverage. Editors must verify every claim, correct answer, date and source before publication.

Publication check

Preview mobile and desktop. Complete the quiz at least twice with different answers to verify scoring and result bands. Update or withdraw it when underlying facts change.
